Weather Watch: Spinbrowser Cloud Formation

w5

What happens?

Visitors can choose to look at the formation of different cloud types. Using the spinbrowser visitors can look at a step-by-step, slow motion, forward and backward image of this taking place. Visitors can look at a view out of the window and see the image of a few days compressed into a few minutes.

How does it work?

Visitors use a spining disc to surf backwards and forward through the different footage and to play it at their preferred speed.

Why is it important?

Visitors and pupils can really easily see the cloud formation and at the same time view what seems to be calm and static as a very chaotic and hectic scene as the weather is always ever changing.
